Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern all services provided by C&G Residential Services to our clients. By instructing us to carry out work, you agree to these terms.

Quotations: All quotes provided by C&G Residential Services are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Quotes are based on the information available at the time and may be subject to revision if additional works are identified once a job has commenced.

Accepting a quote: A quote is accepted when you confirm in writing (including by email, WhatsApp, or text message) that you wish to proceed. This constitutes a contract between you and C&G Residential Services.

Pricing and payments: All prices are quoted inclusive of labour unless otherwise stated. Materials are either included in the quote or itemised separately. Payment is due upon completion of the work unless a staged payment schedule has been agreed in advance. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at 8% above the Bank of England base rate in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

Changes to agreed works: Any changes to the scope of works agreed in the original quote must be confirmed in writing and may result in a revised quote. We will not carry out additional works without your agreement.

Our responsibility: We will carry out all works with reasonable skill and care in line with industry standards. We carry £1 million public liability insurance and £10 million employers liability insurance for your protection.

Your responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that any permissions required to carry out the work — such as planning permission, landlord consent, or freeholder approval — are obtained before work begins. C&G Residential Services accepts no liability for works carried out without the necessary permissions where this was not disclosed to us.

Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a charge to cover lost time and any materials already ordered.
